Monthly Community Update from Sgt Bridgewater

Hello Resident,

I hope this message finds you well. As we move into November, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.

🔍 Local Priorities

Our current focus areas include:

Speeding and other road traffic offences across Hall Green – We recently held a traffic operation across the Hall Green ward. We will be continuing these throughout November

Crime Prevention Surgeries –  As the darkers nights approach, we are holding surgeries across the ward giving out valuable advice.

Improving communication – We are keen to feedback the work the team are doing each week to ensure you are kept informed. This includes an increase in the use of WMNOW and X

Further to this, we are continuing patrols and targeted operations within Hall Green, and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise.

🤝 Partnership Working

We’ve been working closely with:

Waste Enforcement – Seizing vehicles involved in Fly-Tipping offences across the ward

Streetwatch – Joint patrols with our Street watch groups

These collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs.

📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅

We have booked the following crime prevention surgeries where we will be giving practical crime prevention advice, leaflets and free home security items.

B&M, Stratford Road, Hall Green - Monday 10 November 2025, between 11:00am – 12:30pm

Aldi, Stratford Road, Hall Green – Friday 21 November 2025, between 3:00pm – 16:30pm

Aldi, Stratford Road, Hall Green – Wednesday 17 December 2025, between 11:00am – 12:30pm.

Further to the above I have attached a guide to help prevent crime occurring in and around your home.

We also have our regular drop-in sessions at Highfield Hall, 129 Highfield Rd, B28 0HS where you can come and speak with your local officers.
